Monsoon Storms Bring Rain, Thunder and Lightning to Inland Empire
A summer monsoon storm brought heavy rain, thunder and lightning to the Inland Empire early Monday morning. Several dozen lightning flashes were reported. Several cities including Fontana experienced brief heavy downpours. The unstable weather lasted throughout the day bringing hot and muggy conditions. By Monday evening, the weather pattern had moved out of the area.
