A 25-year old adult male was found shot and killed at a Fontana Gas Station around 11:30pm Sunday night. Officers received a welfare check call at an Arco Gas Station in the 6500 block of Citrus Avenue. They found a male inside of a pick-up truck suffering from a gunshot wound. Paramedics responded and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.
As police began their investigation, distraught family members began showing up at the scene. Fontana Police detectives determined the shooting occurred several blocks away from the gas station and believe the suspect and victim knew each other but did not go into any details about a possible suspect.
