Chaffey College Mandates Vaccines for Students
All students attending in-person classes at any of Chaffey College’s three campuses must provide proof of vaccination. In addition the board approved mandates for employees and volunteers. Chaffey College has campuses in Chino, Fontana and Rancho Cucamonga. The college is following similar mandates at other UC and State University schools in California.
Monsoon Storms Bring Rain, Thunder and Lightning to Inland Empire
A summer monsoon storm brought heavy rain, thunder and lightning to the Inland Empire early Monday morning. Several dozen lightning flashes were reported. Several cities including Fontana experienced brief heavy downpours. The unstable weather lasted throughout the day bringing hot and muggy conditions. By Monday evening, the weather pattern had moved out of the area.
