The county of Riverside has received state approval for an accelerated reopening of the economy.
According to guidelines, stage 2 reopening allows for in-store shopping and shopping malls to resume business. Restaurants are allowed to have dine-in customers. Bars cannot reopen however.
County leaders praised the state’s decision to allow Riverside County to move deeper into a stage 2 reopening on Friday afternoon.
“This is a huge success for counties and local businesses,” said Riverside County 4th District Supervisor, Manuel Perez.
