Two teen siblings were killed Friday afternoon after a Ford Mustang crashed into a tree. The driver, 17-year old Elias Cruz lost control of the vehicle at Wilson and Haven Avenue in Rancho Cucamonga.
Both Elias and his 14-year old sister, Sarah died in the in the crash. The teens were both students at Los Osos High School. A third teen was hospitalized with non-life threatening injuries.
A growing memorial was set up at the crash site. People who knew the teens brought flowers and candles. Baseballs could also be seen at the site. Elias loved and played baseball with friends.
