Riverside Furniture Store Goes Up in Flames

A building that houses a furniture store went up in flames on Thursday night. The fire broke out in a two-story building in the 9500 block of Magnolia Ave in Riverside at 10pm.

As flames shot through the roof of the building, a 3rd alarm was called. Firefighters battled the blaze for 45 minutes. Firefighters say an estimated $750,000 in damage was done by the fire. The cause is under investigation.

There were no reported injuries. At least 3 other buildings were saved due to efforts by firefighters.
