Both San Bernardino and Riverside Counties have reached the state’s Orange Tier status under the safer reopening plan. The Orange tier eases more restrictions. 27 County Inmates and 4 San Bernardino Sheriff Employees Test Positive for COVID-19

Twenty-Seven more inmates in the San Bernardino County Jail System tested positive for COVID-19. This brings the total to 273 inmates. Most of the inmates are experiencing minor symptoms of the virus and are expected to recover.
