Fontana Police are investigating a shooting. A call came in for shots fired near a liquor store at Village Parkway and Mango Avenue around 11:30am Tuesday morning. Officers located one victim who had been shot in the chest. The shooting victim was rushed to a local hospital.
Police are reviewing surveillance footage from the area and speaking to witnesses. Preliminary information shows an argument in the parking lot may have led up to the shooting. Police do not have anyone in custody in connection with the shooting.
