Three children in Riverside were exposed to Fentanyl. On Monday at 11:18am, a three-year old child was rushed to a hospital after having difficulty breathing. Once at the hospital, one of the child’s parents interfered with hospital care. Medical staff discovered fentanyl in the child’s blood stream.
A two year old female and five year old were also later tested positive for the deadly drug. Police discovered the family was experiencing homelessness and living out of their car. Police booked both parents into jail and the children were placed in the custody of the Riverside County Department of Child Protective Services.
