A fire displaced 32 residents of the Sierra Pines Apartments in Riverside Monday afternoon. The fire was reported around 3:30pm at the apartment complex in the 3900 block of Fir Tree Drive. Firefighters arrived to find smoke and fire coming from the roof of the complex.
A total of sixteen units burned. The property was red tagged and the Red Cross is assisting the displaced residents. The cause is under investigation.
