A Riverside Sheriff Deputy collided with a pedestrian early Wednesday morning. The accident happened at 3:54 am at Cactus and Heacock Streets in Moreno Valley. The pedestrian was pronounced deceased by paramedics.
The deputy did not have lights and sirens on at the time of the crash. The California Highway Patrol has taken over the investigation.
