San Bernardino County Fire crews and Ontario Firefighters battled a large fire at a recycling in Fontana late Thursday night. The fire was reported just before midnight in the 10800 block of Etiwanda at California Recyclers.
Several bundles of cardboard were burning outside of the building. Firefighters surrounded the fire and crews from the recycling center used heavy equipment to move the bundles so firefighters could put out hot spots. Crews remained at the scene for several hours for mop up. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
