A small single engine airplane crashed in Big Bear Monday afternoon, killing all three people aboard. Witnesses reported seeing the plane going down around 2pm. Firefighters found the wreckage in a vacant lot on the corner Paradise Way and Maltby Boulevard. The area is located east of Big of Bear airport.
There were no smoke or flames at the time of the crash. The cause of the crash will be investigated by the NTSB. According to a flight tracker, the plane took off out of Chino Airport.
