Arrest Made in Plyley Murder

San Bernardino Sheriff Homicide Detectives have arrested a suspect in the murder of Robert Plyley. The suspect, 19-year old Israel Diaz of Bloomington was picked up by the U.S. Border Patrol as he tried to enter back into the United States from Mexico. Diaz is accused of shooting Robert Plyley to death at a Halloween party in Bloomington.

Detectives began working with the U.S. Marshalls Service and Department of Homeland Security after they developed information Diaz was in Mexico. Diaz is being held on a no bail warrant in San Diego. He will be transferred to San Bernardino County to face murder charges.
