Firefighters responded to a house on fire in Rancho Cucamonga early Saturday morning. The fire was reported in the 8300 block of Leucite Avenue around 3:25am. Firefighters found smoke and fire coming from the single-story residence. Once the fire was knocked down they found a deceased victim inside the residence.
The identity or gender of the victim has not been released and the cause of the fire is under investigation. Arson and Bomb investigators from the San Bernardino Sheriff’s department were at the scene investigating.
