Two people were shot Thursday night in Montclair. The call came in just before 9pm in the 4000 block of Kingsley Avenue. Officers located two gunshot victims who were immediately transported to local trauma centers. One of the victims later died.
Homicide detectives were called to the scene to conduct an investigation. The shoot appears to have occurred on Kingsley Avenue and both victims ran to a nearby liquor store to request help. Police have not identified any suspects in connection with the deadly shooting.
