A bicyclist was killed in an early morning hit and run crash in Pomona. Officers responded to Mission Boulevard and East End Avenue just after 5:30am Wednesday morning. They located a 50-year old hispanic male down in the lanes of traffic with a bicycle nearby. Paramedics pronounced the man deceased a short time later.
Evidence at the scene suggests the man tried to cross East End avenue when he was struck by a passing vehicle. The driver did not stop and fled the scene. The crash is under investigation.
