Retaining Wall Collapses in Corona Displacing Residents

Recent heavy rains in Corona have caused a large retaining to collapse behind a group of homes. The wall collapsed in the 2100 block of San Diego Drive sometime Monday. Eight homes were evacuated displacing 18 adults, 5 children and 1 dog.

Red cross was called out to assist those displaced. The Corona building department responded and red-tagged the homes. There were no injuries and so far no plans have been released on how repairs will be made to the wall.
