“Bomb Cyclone” Brings Street Flooding

The so-called “Bomb Cyclone” that hit the region brought street flooding Thursday morning. The storm is part of a series of three atmospheric river storms that are hitting California within the next week. The area saw significant rain on New Year’s eve, so the ground is already saturated. Weather forecaster warned of flash flooding across the region.

The city of San Bernardino saw street flooding with water going over sidewalks. Motorists were urged to avoid travel until the storm passed. Across the Inland Empire there was no reported damage from the storm.
