Hundreds of volunteers showed up to the Riverside National Cemetery to place wreaths on the burial sites of veterans who served in the military. The national program called “Wreaths Across America” took place at 3400 cemeteries nationwide to remember and honor those who served our country.

The volunteers who came out to place the wreaths had different and personal reasons. One woman said her father is a veteran and recently passed away. Another, a veteran himself said this was his way of giving back. The wreaths were donated and sponsored by various organizations and individuals.
