Several structures and cars went up in flames as a fast moving pallet yard fire was fanned by 50mph Santa Ana winds. The fire was reported just before midnight at in the 15800 block of Boyle Avenue in Fontana. As firefighters arrived the flames quickly spread and more resources were ordered to the incident.
It took firefighters two hours to knock down the flames. In all, two structures and seven vehicles across several properties were affected. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
