Four people including a a Fontana police sergeant sustained injuries at the end of a police pursuit on the 10 freeway. It all started just before midnight when Fontana Police tried to stop a white Econoline Van. The driver of the van failed to stop and the pursuit was on, entering the westbound 10 freeway. At some point near Archibald and the 10 freeway the van was pitted by a sergeant causing it to crash into two other vehicles.

The suspect was immediately taken into custody. Firefighters arrived to tend to an injured Fontana Police sergeant. Among the injured was a small child who was taken to a local hospital in an ambulance. In all, four people were transported from the scene in ambulances. The driver of van is facing several charges.
