A fire broke out on the third floor of a building in downtown San Bernardino Saturday afternoon. The fire was reported just before 3pm at 215 North “D” street. As flames started coming through the third story windows and roof, firefighters requested a second and third alarm to bring more resources to keep the fire from spreading.

The blaze was knocked down in an hour. At least one law firm occupies the building according to signage outside. It is not known what other tenants may have had offices at the location. The cause is under investigation.
