Ontario Police responded to the 900 block of North Humboldt Avenue Wednesday afternoon after receiving a domestic disturbance call. They located 50-year old Allen Kao barricaded inside his vehicle claiming he had a killed a female victim.
Officers found the female victim inside a nearby home. She was transported to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead. SWAT negotiators tried for hours to get Kao to surrender but he refused. Finally a flashbang was fired at his vehicle and Kao emerged and was immediately taken into custody. He was taken to a hospital for numerous self-inflicted knife wounds. Once released from the hospital, police will book him into jail for murder.
