Monday’s storms in Forest Falls killed a 62-year old woman and destroyed six homes. The woman was found buried in the mud after several days of searching the area. After the storms cleared, San Bernardino County fire mobilized a damage assessment team.
Going systematically through each address in Forest Falls, the found six homes destroyed, one deck parking area destroyed from flood waters. Two residences in Oak Glen were also destroyed and eight residences sustained damage. Additionally, one commercial building was destroyed and one building sustained damage.
The owner of the famous Oak Glen Steakhouse reported mud and debris flows damage the back area of the restaurant.
