A car crashed into several parked vehicles Thursday night, taking out a gas main and eventually coming to rest in the front of an apartment. The crash happened before 11pm at Fir and Heacock in Moreno Valley. Firefighters evacuated the apartment complex until the gas leak could be shut down.
The driver was taken to a hospital for injuries. The apartment suffered damage to the front window. A woman in her husband were inside the apartment at the time of crash. They were shaken up but not injured. The Riverside County Sheriff is investigating the crash.
