A large fire could be seen for miles in Ontario, south of Ontario Airport, Wednesday night. Firefighters arrived in the 1600 block of South Proforma Avenue around 11pm to find flames coming from stacks of pallets. The fire quickly spread to some of the trailers parked at the business. The fire also extended into the business but it is unknown how much damage was done to the actual building.
The business at the fire location is called US Merchants. Their website list sales of packaging and displays. It took firefighters several hours to knock down the flames. The Rancho Cucamonga and Montclair along with San Bernardino County fire departments assisted. The cause is under investigation.
