Upland Police are investigating an early morning shooting that left one dead and another in stable condition at the hospital. Police found two shooting victims in the area of Foothill Boulevard and Mulberry avenue around 1am Sunday morning. Both victims were transported to a local hospital where one, a 23-year old male was pronounced dead.

The victims appeared to be driving away from the scene and crashed into a center divider on Foothill Boulevard. At least four bullet holes could be seen in the driver side door of the victim’s vehicle. Police found shell casings in front of the nearby Lava Hookah Lounge. Police closed both directions of Foothill Boulevard at Mulberry for several hours while they investigated. A motive or suspect information has not yet been released.
