Several stacks of cardboard caught fire in Fontana. The fire was reported just before 8pm on Monday evening. Firefighters rushed to the Burrtec Recycling facility on Napa Ave in Fontana and put water on the blaze. Once the flames were knocked down, workers at the facility used heavy equipment to break up the piles.
There were no injuries and firefighters were able to keep the blaze from spreading across the facility.
