Matthew Schourup from Upland has been arrested for a road rage shooting that took place in unincorporated Chino last week. Schourup was taken into custody by US Marshalls in Las Vegas, Nevada. Deputies say a victim was shot at several times by Schourup, who was driving a white van at the time. Deputies found several bullet holes in the victim’s vehicle and located the van abandoned near the scene.
The shooting happened Wednesday May 18th around 8:30pm. The victim sustained a minor injury and was treated at the scene. Deputies worked with the US Marshals service to locate Schourup. He is currently at the Clark County Detention Center in Nevada awaiting extradition on attempted murder charges.
