Chino Police have arrested a 29-year old man for contacting a minor to commit a sex crime. Police say the suspect Jose Arias Lopez from San Bernardino was driving an older Ford truck and pulled alongside a juvenile walking home from school. He asked the victim several times to get into the truck as well as made several gestures.
Two observant citizens pulled over to assist the victim and gave police the license plate of the suspect. Detectives located the suspect and arrested him for 288.3 PC, contacting a minor to commit a sex crime.
