A Chino Hills Sheriff unit was involved in a crash while responding “Code 3” with lights and sirens to an immediate call in the city of Chino Hills. The crash happened around 2:20am Sunday morning at the intersection of Soquel Canyon Parkway and Los Serranos drive.
The deputy was transported to a local hospital. The driver of the other vehicle that collided with the Sheriff unit was checked out by paramedics and appeared to only have minor injuries. The intersection was shut down for the traffic investigation. Chino Hills contracts with the San Bernardino County Sheriff department for its police services.
