As many as ten people were shot Friday night in San Bernardino. Police began receiving 911 calls of a shooting at 3606 East Highland Avenue. Police say upon arrival they were confronted by a large hostile crowd.

An altercation had occurred at THA Blue Flame Hookah lounge which was hosting an unpermitted party. Multiple gunshots were exchanged during the altercation that lead to multiple people being struck. 20-year old Allen Gresham Jr of San Bernardino was killed in the gunfire. Police do not have a suspect in custody for the shooting. At least two subjects were arrested, one for possession of an loaded stolen firearm and the other for outstanding warrants.

San Bernardino Police Chief David Green said “the San Bernardino Police Department will be working to not only identify and arrest the suspects, but to shut down the business whose illegal activities led to the shooting.”

Saturday afternoon, the Hookah Lounge had been red tagged with an “unsafe to occupy” notice on the chained door. Red solo cups and broken bottles were strewn around the parking lot. A bullet hole could be seen through the glass of a nearby business. It had appeared police investigators fingerprinted everything in an effort to identify those that were present at the party.
