A driver in a black pick-up truck was airlifted to a local hospital Saturday afternoon. The truck went 50 feet over the side of Mt Baldy road. Firefighters from the Los Angeles County Fire Department arrived to the call around 2:30pm and found one victim suffering from critical injuries.
The victim was hoisted out and flown to a local trauma center by a Los Angeles County Fire Department Helicopter. Claremont Police are investigating the accident and shut down Mt Baldy road.
