Montclair Police Department is seeking public assistance in searching for an ATM robber. Police say on Wednesday February 16th, a 72-year old male was taking money out of a Bank of America ATM in the 9700 block of Central Avenue in Montclair. A suspect came up behind the victim, physically attacking the 72-year old. The suspect stole the victim’s money and wallet.
The 72-year old victim was transported to a local hospital where he was treated for a brain bleed. The suspect is a white male, approximately 25-35 years old. He was last seen driving a silver or tan Chevy Silverado with a California handicap license plate.
