A Fontana man fatally shot a person breaking into his house Saturday night. Fontana Police responded to a call of a gunshot victim in the 7300 block of Cypress Ave in Fontana around 11pm. When they arrived, officers found a burglar dead at the scene from gunshot wounds.
Police say the suspect had a weapon next to him. The homeowner told police multiple people have tried to break into his home.
