A Coca-Cola truck crashed, overturning and spilling soft-drinks all over the freeway in Pomona Saturday morning. The truck was hauling cases of Dr Pepper and Fanta. CHP officers say a woman cut the truck driver off, and he swerved, flipping the truck over. The crash happened just before 6am on the Eastbound 10 freeway at Kellogg.

The driver of the truck was trapped underneath the steering column. Firefighters used a heavy rescue truck as well as stabilization equipment to keep the truck from further trapping the driver. It took an hour to extricate the driver who suffered minor injuries. He was transported to a local hospital.

A sigalert was issued for several hours while Caltrans crews cleaned up the mess.
