Several people were displaced Sunday afternoon after a fire broke out at a Redlands Apartment complex. Firefighters responded to the apartment complex on La Verne street just after 1pm. They found heavy smoke and fire coming from the building.
A second alarm was requested as it took firefighters an hour to battle the fire. Everyone was evacuated safely from the complex, but several units sustained damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation.
