Montclair Police are investigating two seperate homicides. The first occurred in the parking lot of the Lazy Dog Restaurant on Friday evening. Officers responded to a report of shots fired and located an 18-year old male suffering from several gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died from his injuries.
The second incident occurred in the 9300 block of Exeter Avenue later in the evening. Someone called 911 saying there was a large amount of blood outside of their residence. Police followed the blood trail and located a male adult unresponsive in a driveway. The victim was transported to a local hospital where he died of his injuries.
Montclair Police are not connecting the two homicides together at this time and are asking for the public’s help with any information.
