Two cargo theft suspects were killed after crashing into an industrial building in Ontario at the end of a police pursuit. The chase started in Fontana early Wednesday morning after officers received a report of a vehicle breaking into a stopped railcar at the tracks.
Fontana Police chased the suspects who were driving a minivan into the city of Ontario where they turned down a street near Carnegie Avenue and Jurupa and crashed into the side of an industrial building. Both suspects were pronounced dead at the scene. The suspects have only been identified as a male and female. Fontana Police say the suspects were stealing beer from the railcar and there have been an increase of thefts in the area.
