Heavy rain soaked the Inland Empire much of the day Thursday. The rain continued overnight into Friday morning, extremely heavy at times. A flash flood alert was issued for the burn scar areas near Oak Glen, Forest Falls and Lytle Creek.
Mud flowed near Lytle Creek road as county crews kept an eye on the area. Elsewhere, the heavy rains caused several roads to flood, with drivers slowing down as they drove through flooded intersections.
More rain is expected this weekend.
