A motorcyclist was killed early Saturday morning in a wrong way hit and run crash. A pickup truck made a u-turn on the westbound 10 freeway at Tippecanoe in Loma Linda around 1:40am. The truck struck a motorcycle head-on before continuing the wrong direction on the freeway and fleeing off the Mountainview off-ramp.
The rider was pronounced dead at the scene. The crash happened less than a mile from another fatal crash involving a big rig and sedan, also on the westbound 10 freeway near Tippecanoe. CHP is investigating both crashes and still looking for the driver of the pickup truck.
