A 13-year old juvenile was arrested for possession of a loaded handgun at a middle school in Rialto. The incident occurred Monday at Kolb Middle School.
Rialto Police responded and took the student into custody around 1:13pm Monday afternoon. The student was booked into Juvenile Hall on charges of PC 626.9 (b)- possession of a firearm in a gun-free school zone and PC 25400 (a)- possession of a concealed firearm.
It is unknown how the student got the weapon. Rialto Police is continuing to investigate the incident.
