A big rig driver was killed after rear-ending another big rig in the slow lane on the 60 freeway. The crash happened early Thursday morning on the Eastbound 60 freeway at Grove Ave in Ontario. A sig alert was issued backing up traffic into the morning commute while CHP, CalTrans and a heavy duty tow truck attempted to remove the wreckage.
CHP is investigating the collision. The driver has been identified as 63-year old Wilder Salas Bastante from Hesperia.
