Corona Police Investigate Homicide at Movie Theatre

Corona Police are investigating a shooting that occurred late Monday night at a movie theatre. Police received a 911 call of unknown trouble at the Regal Edwards Cinemas at The Crossings Shopping Center at 2650 Tuscany Street around 11:45pm. They located to gunshot victims, a male and female. The female was pronounced dead at the scene. She has been identified as 18-year old Rylee Goodrich from Corona. The male, 19-year-old Anthony Barajas was transported to a local hospital and is on life support.

Police say both attended the 9:45pm showing of The Forever Purge together. Police spent the better part of Tuesday collecting evidence from the theatre. They have not found a weapon involved in the shooting and are looking for leads on suspects and a motive. A total of six tickets were purchased for the movie. Corona Police are asking for the public to come forward with any information that may help them in their investigation.
