BB Gun Shooting Suspect Arrested in Riverside

A suspect possibly responsible for over 100 BB gun shooting incidents along the 91 Freeway was taken into custody Tuesday night in Riverside. For several weeks, there have been well over 100 incidents involving blown out windows and damaged cars at all hours of the day along the 91 Freeway stretching from Riverside, Orange and Los Angeles Counties.

Riverside Police stopped a red SUV with no plates matching the description of a suspect CHP had been looking for near the Tyler Galleria in Riverside. The suspect, 34-year old Jesse Leal Rodriguez of Anaheim was arrested and turned over to the California Highway Patrol.

Rodriguez is being held on $750,000 bail and will be arraigned Friday in a Riverside courtroom. The BB gun shootings have stopped since Rodriguez arrest.
