An ex-employee of a Riverside barbershop stabbed two current employees before getting shot. Police say 33-year old Joseph Jimenez went to the Carlos Barbershopss in the 3400 block of La Sierra Ave, attacked and stabbed an employee before another intervened. The second employee was also stabbed. The incident happened around 7pm Friday evening in Riverside.
The employee retrieved a handgun from a drawer and shot Jimenez. The two stabbing victims were transported to local hospitals in unknown condition. Â Jimenez was also transported to a local hospital where he was pronounced deceased.
Riverside Police Robbery Homicide Unit are conducting an ongoing investigation into the incident.
