A fire broke out at the Scottish Rite of Free Masonry building in San Bernardino. The fire was first reported at 1am in the 4400 block of north Varsity Avenue.
First arriving firefighters found flames coming from the roof of the building. A second alarm was called. 42 firefighters knocked the fire down in about an hour.
The cause is under investigation.
