Dozens of students, parents and coaches held a rally in Chino Hills to play sports. High school sports have been shut down since March when the COVID 19 pandemic started. Under current California mandates, students are only allowed to train and condition.

Students and coaches want those mandates lifted, saying that other states have allowed sports programs to resume. They also point to professional and college sports which have also resumed.

Many believe its time for students to get back to playing sports. They believe safety protocols can be followed. Several of the students are seniors and are concerned about missing the season in their final year.
