A pedestrian was struck and killed by a hit and run driver Sunday night in San Bernardino. The accident happened at 2nd and G street around 7:45pm.
A Saturn was driving at high speed on 2nd street when it struck the victim, who was walking in a marked cross walk. Police identified the driver as 30-year old Ronald Harris. Harris did not wait for police or emergency personnel and fled the area after the crash.
Harris was later located by police and found to be under the influence of marijuana. He was booked into jail.
